This project started as just something to do, but grew into something very expensive but a lot of fun!
I've pretty much covered all the parts in the gallery (link above). If you want to know any specifics, PM me on mp3car or email me (details at the bottom of the page)

My first Car PC was my laptop, with a character LCD, back in 2002. Since then it has become a dedicated PC with a touchscreen, capable of movies, mp3, gps and mobile internet access.

• Deluo RS232 GPS via USB<->RS232 converter
• TUMONZ and Fugawi GPS software
• Creative CIMR-100 remote
• Opus 90W PSU
• Lots of hard work

And the car audio system:

• Kenwood KWC-3003 (I think) 12" Subwoofer and box
• AWA A470 70x4 amplifier bridged for sub
• Reactor RA604 4x75 amp for speakers
• Factory rear speakers
• Blaupunkt Overdrive 4" fronts
• Factory tweeters
• Power Acoustik 1.2F capacitor
• Kicker X2i active crossover
• Home-made amp-controller PIC (see gallery)
• 2 x gold-plated 4ga/8ga distribution blocks
• 4ga cabling to battery, 8ga to amps/cap
• Single 60A system fuse
